About IEEE at USF
IEEE is a worldwide organization that provides its members with access to publications, conferences, networking opportunities, and more.
Established in 1967, IEEE University of South Florida Student Chapter (IEEE at USF) serves as a bridge between USF and the IEEE national organization. The chapter provides opportunities to network with fellow USF students and professionals from the engineering field and achieve technical excellence through our programs.
IEEE Membership
Join IEEE as a student member
Everything on this page runs through our student branch — but the branch is your doorway into IEEE itself, the world’s largest technical professional organization. Student membership costs a fraction of the professional rate and follows you from your first semester into your career.

Industry Partnership
Sponsor IEEE at USF
Help students build hands-on projects, develop technical skills, compete in engineering competitions, and gain experience beyond the classroom.
Support our Student Branch
Every gift moves a project forward.
You don’t need to be a company to help. Alumni, parents, faculty, students, and friends of the branch can give any amount through the USF Foundation. Donations fund lab equipment, competition travel, and the parts our teams build with.
